He literally walked me through the finish line.

I am an MS3 and I feel its my duty to write this review of Dr. Waqar’s USMLE step-1 program. To be honest, I never wrote any reviews, either good or bad, but this time I felt I should share my experience of learning from Dr. Waqar so that many more students like me would benefit from his teaching. I never had a tutor during the first 4 terms of medical school and in the last term, I randomly saw a post from one of my colleagues about Dr. Waqar. I thought I would contact him and see what he can offer. He responded to me right away and explained clearly what he can do and what my expectations were. From the time when I first contacted him, he was there with me all throughout till I took my step-1. I had so many teachers throughout my career, and I had no teacher better than him. He is very knowledgeable, thorough with the content and could answer all my questions whether related to the topic he is teaching or not with great ease. I was always amazed how well he could answer my questions for which I struggled to understand even after referring to various textbooks and video sources. He would teach the content from multiple sources and literally cover every topic of step 1. It became so easy to answer questions as he already explained the hard topics from multiple sources. He is a great mentor, and always motivated me even in the toughest times. Even though I finished the program long before, he always responded to my messages and motivated me. He literally walked me through the finish line. I would think he is mostly interested to help students rather than gain from the fees as he charges very less for the course. I felt bad at times and felt guilty of paying that much less for what I gained from him. He literally talks the whole hour and I had more than 100 hours of teaching for the step-1 course way beyond what we agreed upon. I extended many of his classes by my queries and he never kept a tab on the hours. I even volunteered to pay him as I exceed the hours, we agreed upon but he politely refused and said he will teach me till he finishes the syllabus and he is committed to it. I never seen any teacher who is so passionate, knowledgeable, and committed to students’ success. Thank you so much Dr. Waqar.

He is very supportive, and I loved working with him

Dr. Waqar did great. He really goes into a lot of detail into the type of questions you will see. He is very supportive, and I loved working with him. I definitely found the UWORLD and USMLE RX questions a lot more manageable thanks to his advice and teachings. I highly recommend his program. You won’t regret it.

I owe my success to him and greatly appreciate his guidance!

Dr. Waqar trained and tutored me to ace step 1 in my third year of medical school. He made a rigorous plan for me that I followed daily. He does not waste time and saved me from all the unnecessary bullshit that students face nowadays. In addition to being a great tutor he is also great mentor, he prepared me mentally for the exam and motivated me in my toughest times. I would recommend anyone who is interested in taking the steps to train with Dr Waqar. I owe my success to him and greatly appreciate his guidance! Thanks a lot Sir.

Would recommend to anyone

I had been studying for the step 1 for a while my first NBME was 200 but my goal was more. After this I started taking classes with Dr. Waqar (from Easy Medicine) & we reviewed the first aid, while we did this he always emphasized on the most important parts that I had to know, this reduced the amount of things that i had to memorize and helped me focus on what is more important. Moreover, he always told me the extra information that is not written in the first aid but which might be asked in questions. He also helped me integrate all the information & for me, I think that is the most important and challenging part of studying for the Step 1. He also explained how to answer the questions, the symptoms more frequently used for each disease, so you would be able to identify diseases easily in the exam. Because of this, my scores were increased even through I had not even finished UWorld yet & my confidence about taking the exam has increased too. I wish I had found him before. If you have any query my Instagram is thelyloro.
